Didier Revel is a self-taught artist from Seine et Marne, born on December 1st, 1956 in Avon.
From 1971 to 1974, he trains in art ironworks at the Ecole de Ferronnerie d'Art. He discovers abstract art during his adolescence but will only start to paint much later in the 90's.
His unusual technique mixes ink and oil painting on different mediums like board or canvas.
In 1994, he co-founds the association Amalgame with Yola Paris, Norbert Sirven, Marc Sautier which regroups artist from his area and takes part today in several exhibitions, locally as well as nationally.
